Wills Creek RV Park is located in Fort Payne, Alabama, and can be found within close proximity of DeSoto State Park. The manager explains that they try to keep the wooded areas "mowed and landscaped" and that people can fish in the creek—which is known as Will's Creek—for bass and other types of fish.
Outside the property's boundaries, one can find a few other businesses, mostly separated by a layer of trees and woods. Wills Creek RV Park is located about three miles from the downtown area of Fort Payne. The Alabama Fan Club and Museum includes exhibits regarding the local history, but there is a separate portion of the building that has a stage and sometimes hosts live music. Some examples of other outdoor recreational activities are Little River Canyon State Park and DeSoto State Park. Cloudmont Ski & Golf Resort is available throughout the year, offering both skiing and golfing. There are a variety of restaurants in the vicinity that patrons can find, and a few that the manager likes to mention by name include Toros Cantina and Grill, Zaxby's, and Santa Fe Cattle Company.
The owners and manager of Wills Creek RV Park would like their patrons to feel "like they are at home." They try to create this atmosphere by trying to be helpful and providing information for guests if they have questions, especially regarding the area and what attractions can be found nearby. The manager mentions that one unique aspect of the establishment is "how quiet it is." He explains that the business "is less than a mile from the interstate, but you don't notice a lot of sounds. It's nice, quiet, and convenient."

Similarly, pets are not permitted in buildings, but they can be out as long as they are leashed and cleaned up by their owners. Pets can roam freely without a leash at the fenced-in dog park. Finally, quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m. each night and continue until 7:00 a.m. The business only holds events occasionally, but throughout the year, the manager may host car shows and a cookout for all of the patrons that are staying at the RV park and cabins.

According to the manager, designs have been made for a waterpark, which he hopes to build sometime soon.
