Wagon Wheel Cottage & RV Park offers 9 RV sites and 22 cozy cottages nestled in the heart of Mackay, Idaho. The RV sites include full hookups and access to a clean, convenient bathhouse. Guests will find a variety of RV supplies and beverages available for purchase in the lobby. A complimentary ice machine is also available for guest use. Only propane fires are permitted on the property, and guests are welcome to bring their whole family—including pets. Coin-operated laundry facilities are open 24 hours a day for added convenience. There’s no shortage of outdoor adventures in Mackay. Guests are encouraged to bring ATVs, hiking boots, and bikes to explore the rugged terrain. Daniel and Cheary Haney are the current owners of Wagon Wheel Cottage & RV Park, carrying on the legacy of this historic property, which was originally built and established in 1947. They took over from the previous owners, Cindy and Greg Blackwell, who made significant updates to the RV park in 2019, including upgrades to accommodate larger RVs. Before Cindy and Greg, the park was owned by Don and Karen, and it was during their tenure in the 1980s that the RV sites and cabin were added. Daniel and Cheary were drawn to the charm and potential of Wagon Wheel Cottage & RV Park and saw it as the ideal opportunity to pursue a new chapter in their lives. With a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a commitment to hospitality, they are dedicated to continuing the tradition of providing a clean, welcoming, and community-oriented place for travelers.
