History

Vacation Station RV Park has a history dating back to around 2000. The Director of Operations mentions that the park was approximately ten years old at the time of new ownership in 2009. He explains that the decision to enter the lodging industry was rooted in the owners’ family history. Their family grew up in the resort business, starting in Silver Lake in the 1960s and eventually expanding to manage three hotels and two RV parks. The park's ownership was later transferred to the two current owners from Silverlake. For Vacation Station RV Park's current Director of Operations, the joy of being in the hospitality industry comes from providing a getaway for people who appreciate the outdoors and a change of scenery.

Over the years, the owners have invested in improving the property. Two additions were made to the park, along with enhancements such as irrigation for landscaping, concrete pads for each site, and additional amenities. Recently, a second pool and bathhouse were added to enhance the guest experience. As for future plans, the business does not currently have any large-scale plans. However, the Director of Operations for Vacation Station RV Park explains that he is committed to keeping the park well-maintained for guests.
