The Sundance Campground and RV Park is in the small community of Coram, Montana, seven miles from Glacier National Park. It sits on six acres of forested land at the bottom of a valley near the Flathead National Forest. They are privately owned and beside Highway 2. There are 30 RV sites and 12 tent sites on the property, each with a fire pit, a picnic table, and water. The campground is described as “convenient family camping in the woods,” and the owner hopes that guests will enjoy themselves and feel welcome during their stay. The campground is open from May 1st through October 15th and is busiest between the last week of June and Labor Day. The current owner has owned the property since 2000.

Located at milepost 147 in the Flathead National Forest sits the Sundance Campground and RV Park. The campground is located in the small community of Coram, Montana on six acres of forested land at the bottom of a valley. The property also has views of the mountains around it. Those who visit the property have access to the nature around them by means of walking trails, biking trails, and easy access to the highway. Glacier National Park’s west entrance is located seven miles from the RV park. On the six acres, there are two bathhouses with showers that are cleaned every day and coin-operated laundry. There is also a dump station, a building that houses the well, and the main office building where check-in happens. The camp provides a fenced dog park, that provides a water faucet and materials for the guests to clean up after their dogs. There is also a playground for kids, as well as having a public bike path that extends past the property toward Glacier National Park. 


There are 30 RV sites and 12 tent sites to choose from and stay at for visitors. The sites are close together and are all adjacent to each other in a grid. All RV sites in the campground are provided with either 50 amp or 30 amp hookups as well as water, a fire pit, and a picnic table. The tent sites on the campground are supplied with water, a fire pit, and a picnic table like the RV sites, and some tent sites are provided with 20 amp electricity. 

Nearby the Sundance Campground and RV Park are various attractions. The campground is seven miles from Glacier National Park and is 40 minutes from Flathead Lake, which happens to be the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. The property is also 40 minutes from the Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. Restaurants nearby for guests include Tiens Place, Backslope, La Casita, plus many more, giving guests a variety of places to eat.

The campground can be described as “convenient family camping in the woods.” Dogs are allowed for visitors of the RV park and campground, but the visitors are expected to pick up after their dogs and keep them on leashes. Quiet time starts at 10 PM.

The property is open from May 1st through October 15th, with the busiest season for them starting in the last week of June through Labor Day. Because the campground is near Glacier National Park, the campground's business is impacted by holidays and summer months when guests are more likely to visit the park. History

The Sundance Campground and RV Park was first opened in the 1970s and has been in business since then. In 2000, the current owners bought the campground and RV Park and have been involved in its management thereafter. When the campground was first started, there was a highway that went by the campground; however, since then, the government decided to put a new highway there. The Sundance Campground warns that sometimes the GPS can be inaccurate and lead guests down the wrong path. The campground sits at milepost 47, a mile north of downtown Coram.

Since the current owners bought the Sundance Campground, the electric and water systems have been updated. they have also rebuilt and renovated the buildings in existence and has even constructed new buildings on the property.
