About

Sandy Pines Camping Resort has ownership of nearly 60-acres of land. On those 60-acres, visitors have the choice of picking between over 200 sites with different functions and amenities, depending on what type of stay guests are looking to experience on their trip. Of those sites, 61 are RV sites, offering back-in as well as pull-through for convenience. Each site comes with 50 AMP electricity, water, and sewage stations. Specific RV sites labeled 'Classic RV sites' offer 30 AMP electricity to go along with the water and sewage stations.

Seasonal sites that are available in the area include cable, water, sewage, 50 AMP electricity, and a firepit. Sandy Pines Camping Resort also offers glamping sites as well as "unique retreats," which offer campers a diverse stay in a variety of different ways, ranging from a Zephyr or Wayfarer to a VW Bus or Chuck Wagon. Each of these retreats overlooks the salt marshes, offering either a king-sized bed or a queen-sized bed, depending on which space is desired by guests. They also come with air conditioning, lighting, firepits, outdoor dining areas, and towels. Other glamping experiences that guests can stay at include the family cottages, "hideaway huts," and glamping tents for both individuals and families. Beyond the property lies the city of Kennebunkport, a town that lies next to the Kennebunkport River, which is also known as a fishing village that extends to the banks of the Oaks Reef. There are a number of tourist attractions that can be done here, such as whale watching and lobster boat tours, kayaking down the river or near the bay, and sightseeing at the Seashore Trolley Museum.
