The resort offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, two pools, a jacuzzi, a mini-golf course, a café, and more. There are a total of 700 RV sites, and visitors can choose to stay short-term or long-term, as the property has a number of spaces for each kind of stay. Due to the location, the property is within a few miles of a number of casinos, including Mandalay Bay. Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort can hold rallies as well as events, whether they are organized by the business or by a guest staying at the resort. In the past, they have held weddings, a Thanksgiving potluck, and a welcome-back picnic in celebration of the winter season in October.

About

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort offers about 700 RV sites, which are available as short-term and long-term stays. Customers can choose to stay for a weekend, where the price is calculated on a day-to-day basis, or they can stay for a more extended period of time where the price is set for monthly rates. The RV sites are broken down into different categories. The standard spots are back-in only, deluxe sites are pull-through, premium locations are found closer to the clubhouse and other amenities, premium plus are larger in size and have a fenced lawn, and big rig sites are for mobile homes that are larger than the average RV size. Regardless of which site a person reserves for their stay, each one comes with cable television, access to Wi-Fi, and full hookups, including water, sewage, and 30 and 50 amp electricity.

Besides the RV sites, Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort has several public areas that are available to everyone staying at the establishment. The clubhouse is where the front desk is located, as well as the fitness center and Cabana Market, which is a store where guests can buy RV supplies, grocery items, clothes, beer, wine, and a few things that guests may have forgotten, such as shorts or swimsuits. The Hollywood room and Ballroom are two locations where guests are able to gather groups together and hold events, with the Ballroom specifically being suitable for holding events like weddings and get-togethers as it has a patio that leads to the outside area.

Among the RV sites, the property has two swimming pools near the center of the business; one is for families, and the other is for people aged 18 and older. A jacuzzi can be found near the adults-only pool and does not allow children. An 18-hole mini-golf course can be found, as well as other outdoor games like bocce ball and horseshoe pits. Two storage sites are available, with an added fee, for visitors that need to store RV-related things.

Outside of the property line, there are a variety of places for patrons to get food or find attractions. Bootleggers, which is about five minutes away from Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, is an Italian restaurant that serves lunches and dinners. A diner across the street has a deal with the RV resort that gives guests who have a reservation at Oasis Las Vegas a 15% off discount. Two local casinos called The Southpoint, and The Silverton double as both eateries and places to find entertainment. Other places located in the area include Red Rock Canyon National Park, Mt. Charleston, and Seven Magic Mountains.

Culture

As the establishment has been around for some time, one of the property's main goals is to repair and fix up things that are not in as good of shape as they can be. According to one of the managers, they want their guests to feel relaxed and welcome when they show up for their reservation. To help the patrons feel that way, the employees do their best to make a positive first impression, greet them, and communicate with the visitors when they first come to the resort and any other time they get the chance.
In an effort to cultivate a positive experience for their guests, Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort has several policies in place that they ask people to abide by. While pets are allowed in many of the places on the property, there is a specific ban on all pit bulls. Quiet time is enforced, starting at 10:00 in the evening and ending at 7:00 in the morning. They have a number of vendors that are allowed at the resort and a brochure that explains each one that is available. Finally, as they are a transient park, guests that are staying at the resort for six months or more will be required to move their RV to show proof of their agreement with Clark County that the RVs are mobile.

According to the manager, people who have stayed at the resort in the past often mention the helpfulness of the staff, as well as the quality of cleanliness in the laundry rooms and bathrooms. A number of them mention the facilities offered, like the pools and the convenience of the location. One person who had a reservation at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort writes in a review, "The staff is helpful, and the location of this place is great. The amenities are abundant, with a lovely gift shop and community areas. The bathrooms are kept clean, and having it guard-gated assures a sense of safety."

History

One of the managers of the property explains that she was personally led to this job when she and her husband, who was an electrician, had to move from Las Vegas and found themselves in a more rural part of Southern Colorado. She traveled in an RV of her own with her husband and two kids to Colorado, then eventually moved back to Las Vegas, where she found a job at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort has been in business for roughly 25 years, and it was opened by two private owners who still run the business today. Over the years, they have added a number of things to the property, including holiday events, amenities, and more RV sites for people to stay at, which led to an increase in job openings as well. Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort is now run by over 50 employees.
