Montana Basecamp is located along fifty acres of mountainside land in Kalispell, Montana. The campground sits on a valley floor carved out by an Ice Age Glacier. Flathead Valley was left with an extreme landscape covered in rich soils, rivers, and lakes when the glaciers receded. Millions of acres of public land are located beyond Montana Basecamp. There are hundreds of trails and miles of nature pathways. There are sixty-two sites on the Montana Basecamp. Each site is different with back-in and pull-through capabilities. There is just one long road that makes up the campground, with RV sites on each side of the road. All of the sites at Montana Basecamp are paved with a grassy area for picnics and trees throughout. The uniformity of the sites gives the campground a tidy and professional look and feel. Each site is equipped with all of the necessary RV hookups such as sewage, water, thirty and fifty amp electricity services.

The RV pads themselves are relatively spacious and designed to accommodate RV's and campers of all sizes. Besides the private amenities at each site, two laundromats and bathhouses are located evenly throughout both sides of the RV sites.
