Misty Mountain Camp Resort covers 50 acres of land with sites surrounded by trees. There are a variety of accommodations for visitors to choose from, including cabins, RV sites, and tent sites. There are 16 cabins on the campsite. Cabins have one to three rooms. Cabin amenities include A/C, heat, a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee maker. Outside the cabins, each guest has a private picnic table and a fire ring. Four of the cabins on the property are pet friendly. Linens, blankets, pillows, and towels are not provided. There are 120 RV sites, and they are big enough to accommodate any size of RV. Amenities on the RV sites include full hookup 50/30 amp electric, water hookups, pull-through and back-in sites. Each RV site has a picnic table and fire pit. Twenty-five tent sites accommodate different sizes of groups. There are tent sites for six people and spaces to accommodate up to 100 people. Each tent site has a picnic table, and fire ring, lantern hook. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities while on the campground. There is a vast amount of nature trails for guests to explore. There are a pool and a pond on the property to keep guests cool during their time on the campground. There are several playgrounds, a basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and a recreational building with pool and video games. The property offers a few different unique activities for guests, including a hayride around the park, live music, and dances. There is a general store on the property for guests' convenience. Every Sunday, Misty Mountains offers guests complimentary coffee and donuts.
Misty Mountain Camp Resort has a family-friendly environment with a vast amount of recreation to do right on the property. There is a massive jump pad that the whole family can enjoy. It is open from 8 am to 8 pm. There are two playgrounds with five slives, swings, and climbing. Another fun activity for kids to enjoy is the Misty Mountain Mining Company. This is where kids can collect gemstones and fossils and start their own collection of gems. The fishing pond is stocked for fishing, though it is a catch and release pond. There are bluegill, bass, and catfish in the pond. Misty Mountain Camp Resort has cornhole and horseshoe pits and puts on tournaments throughout the year. There is a vast amount of outdoor sports for guests to enjoy, and the campground has equipment available for guests to use. Guests can stay cool with the splash pad or by dipping in the pool. There is a fitness room with a treadmill, elliptical, bike, and free weights.
