Meeker River Bend RV Park has three acres of land surrounding the park, providing the needed area for each consumer to stay in. Ten RV sites have been placed throughout those acres, which make up all the sites located in Meeker River Bend RV Park. No store is situated on the property; however, Meeker River Bend RV Park is within walking distance of Meeker, located just ten minutes outside of the city borders. The city of Meeker provides grocery and souvenir shops that campers can access for their camping and vacation needs. Open year-round, several features and amenities are found in the RV sites, such as full hookup with 110 V, 30 AMP, and 50 AMP unmetered electric usage. The water and sewage are provided by the city, which can be found in each of the sites. A leisure park on the property includes a grassy area with trees and a BBQ grill and picnic area. Shoreline fishing access is located in the park, giving fishers close entry to rainbow, brown and native cutthroat trout. Meeker is also in close proximity to Trappers Lake—Colorado's second-largest lake, which provides fishing, however, no motorized boating is allowed. Trappers Lake is located east of Meeker and west of the town of Yampa, stretching at around a mile and a half in length. Camper reviews also mention Gianinetti's, and OHV renting service, which provides self-guided tours throughout the White River Valley. This local river runs throughout the state of Colorado and Utah. Meeker River Bend RV park has been in business for 12 years, having been established in 2012 by GIC, an investing company. GIC bought the open fields and pastures, turning them into a ten site property.
