History

High Point RV Park have had the same ownership since the early 1960s, and it has remained with them to the modern day. The current manager and management team have worked at the park for the past 30 years.

Enid was a part of the Land Rush of 1889, where American settlers ran to stake claims on local plots of land and became a town in one day. The region began with only a land office and post office, but the town "practically started overnight." The railroad passed through Enid a few years after it was established.
