Today, it stands as a testament to a battle that happened in 1862, where many people fought and suffered. Many tours are offered here where people can see actual battlefields and more.

They felt that managing and running an RV park would be ideal for them, so they found Green Acres RV Park and purchased it. They have always loved meeting the various types of people who stay at their property, learning their stories, and eventually becoming their friends. Getting to know those who own and use RVs has always been unique to the owners, so they strive to learn about their guests as best as they can.
The property itself was built around the 1980s and has been used as an RV park ever since it was built. There have been a few owners to the property, every one of them making their own changes and additions that have made it what it is today. The current owners have made many cosmetic changes and plan on doing more whenever necessary. Some of the changes they have already made include redoing the shower room, renovating the laundry room, adding sidewalks, and improving the sites that the RVs are located on. They also gave themselves more of an online presence, which was not as important to the property's previous owners. There are no major future plans for the property yet, but the owners plan to keep the property up to date.
