Camp Deep Lake occupies roughly 15 acres of land in central Wisconsin near Wisconsin Dells. One of the goals that the manager of the property has for the campground is to create a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that can allow guests to reconnect with nature. With the intent to further emulate a family-friendly environment, the owners also provide several on-site activities that every guest is given access to during their stay. Such activities can be engaged in either on Deep Lake or at the property's activity field.
Located in the heart of Wisconsin, Camp Deep Lake currently offers a mix of seasonal RV sites, transient sites, and tent camping. Of the total number of sites, which adds up to 62, 4 are designated as transient sites, 3 are reserved for tent camping, and the rest are RV spaces. The seasonal sites, as well as the campground itself, are generally open from April 15th to October 15th, depending on the weather. Regardless of which type of site guests are staying in, every space is equipped with a picnic table and fire pit, and all patrons can access the campground's free WiFi. With regard to the RV site hookups, these spaces offer water, sewer, and 30/50 amp electrical service. It should also be noted that a dump station can be found on the premises and is available for visitors to utilize at their leisure.

For those who take an interest in outdoor recreation, Camp Deep Lake is adjacent to Deep Lake, where people can engage in fishing and swimming. The campground contains a shed that is available for visitors to store their fishing supplies and other equipment. Visitors can also temporarily park their boats at the property's dock until the end of the season. The manager of Camp Deep Lake considers the establishment's close proximity to the lake to be one specific quality that the property is known for. The grounds feature a small walkway that extends from the campground to the beach area of Deep Lake. In this beach area, the park stores its boats which are available to reserve. The campers can also store their boats in this area. Furthermore, Camp Deep Lake offers rentals for row boats, paddle boards, and kayaks, all of which are available without an additional fee. This equipment is rented out for three hours at a time. A pontoon boat can also be rented; however, this particular boat does require a fee to use.
One notable draw that the manager of Camp Deep Lake says receives a number of tourists is the town of Wisconsin Dells. The town is located a few miles southwest of the campground, and it contains several restaurants and shops. "[Camp Deep Lake is] near the town without being amid the hustle and bustle," according to the manager of the establishment. She also observes that a considerable number of tourists visit the wineries and hiking trails that can be found in the campground's vicinity. As for the nearby dining options, the manager of Camp Deep Lake suggests her patrons visit the Cove Supper Club, Generations, and KD's Pub & Grub.
The manager of Camp Deep Lake says that they try to be very community-oriented at the property; they encourage visitors to socialize by hosting potlucks or other similar gatherings. On occasion, the manager holds movie nights for visitors, which involves free popcorn for everyone. "We try to be very family-friendly," the manager expresses. Generally speaking, the owners want their guests to feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay. In an effort to provide this experience to their visitors, the manager says that they try to prepare each site before guests arrive, which might entail mowing the lawn or other standard upkeep. The manager also says that she tries to interact with guests frequently.
Guests are expected to abide by a few policies that are implemented at Camp Deep Lake throughout the duration of their stay. With regard to pets, the manager says that any dog breed is welcome to accompany guests at the campground, provided that pet owners keep their dogs leashed at all times and that they clean up after them. According to the manager of Camp Deep Lake, the establishment has been around for at least 50 years. The original owner lived on the property with his family, and eventually, the original owner's daughter gained ownership over the acreage. She raised her family at what is now known as Camp Deep Lake until about seven years ago when she sold it to a campground management company known as HAN Capital.
The current manager of the establishment has assisted with running the campground for nearly five years. She discovered the property when she received a letter that was sent from the previous owner, which was a request for a new manager of the campground. Since becoming the manager, she has discovered that her favorite part of the job is "meeting new people and seeing families that come to the campground year after year."
