With the intent to maintain a clean environment, smoking is prohibited within all buildings, including motel rooms and RVs. Guests are expected to smoke in designated outdoor areas. Furthermore, the park observes quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. During this time, everyone is required to keep noise to a minimum out of consideration for those hoping to have a restful night in a quiet environment. While the park tends to attract mainly adult guests, families with children are also welcome, as there are no specific age restrictions.


The present owner of Countrywood Inn & RV Park has had ownership over the business for nearly 22 years, as reported by the manager, Mindy. While the exact history of the park as an RV facility is unclear to Mindy, she comments that the building on the premises—which currently serves as a motel where guests can occupy rooms—dates back to 1921 and has been operating as a motel for many years. The property has undergone a few updates over the course of its existence. Upon the departure of long-term patrons who were staying in the motel accommodations, the room that they previously stayed in then goes under renovation and remodeling. The renovations involve replacing carpets and checking and replacing appliances as needed. Future plans for the property mainly focus on continued remodeling rather than expanding the number of sites.
