Another characteristic of the property is a dry dock storage area that occupies a portion of the acreage, where visitors may park their rigs in it for an additional fee.
Facilities including an office, library, gym, main recreation hall, pool hall, dart hall, laundry facility, shower, and restrooms, can all be found on the premises and are available for visitors to use during their stay. The majority of these facilities are spread throughout the property in separate buildings. Each amenity provides different activities that are unique to the facility's particular use, for example, in the pool hall, there are pool tables, while in the dart hall there are electronic dart machines where guests can play darts. As for the laundry facility, the laundry machines are card operated, and visitors can purchase a laundry card from the RV Resort.

The manager of the RV resort recommends Chretins Mexican Food and Sesame's Kitchen to patrons who are in search of nearby restaurants. Another specific reason that people visit Los Algodones is for medical care, as the area is known to be a "medical town," according to the manager.
As Caravan Oasis RV Resort itself is a resort for those who are over the age of fifty-five, the property is based in a 55+ community, as mentioned by the manager. They allow their patrons to invite their families to stay with them, especially during the holidays, even if their family members are younger than the age of fifty-five. Visitors who do not meet this age requirement and are planning on staying at Caravan Oasis RV Resort long-term or short-term may not be allowed to stay at the property. Some of the changes that have been made since then include new pull-through sections, remodeling of the recreation hall, and currently, the RV resort is in the process of remodeling the bathrooms, making them wheelchair accessible. As for future plans, the manager hopes to repave the roads in the park and redo the laundry rooms. From the words of the manager, one of her favorite parts about working at the RV resort is "meeting everybody from all walks of life."
