The Cape Camping and RV Park is located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, near Highway I-55. The establishment is open year-round. The dump station includes air and water options. Propane tank refills are available as well. A two-acre fishing pond is located on the Cape Camping and RV Park. Here visitors can fish in the stocked fishing pond with no license required. A nature walking trail falls around the property, and the city walking trail is just twenty yards outside of Cape Camping. Pets are welcome on the property as long as they have been vaccinated and are kept on a leash. There are pet walking areas all around the park.
The property office is located just outside of the property's main entrance. The office has a small store that offers RV supplies, sodas, snacks, and other basic camping necessities. The rec center at the Cape Camping and RV Park center has video games, movie rentals, book rentals, board games, and a pool table for visitors to use. The property is open year-round, with summer as the peak season for visitors. They offer weekly and monthly rates depending on visitors' preferences. There are many repeat guests at Cape Camping and RV Park. The park is two miles from I-55 and five minutes from the Center of Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri State University. Cape Girardeau is home to Rush Limbaugh, a popular radio personality and political commentator across Missouri. Cape Girardeau is also a university town with various activities ranging from the Missouri Wall of Fame to the Safari Parks.

Cape Camping and RV Park was originally a golf course for many years prior to its being turned into an RV Park. Dustin Richardson purchased the park in 2018 from its previous owner, who turned it into the RV Park it is now. Dust also owns The Landing Point and Aardvark Storage in Girardeau. The Landing Point is the second of the two RV parks in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
