With regards to how they want their guests to feel while staying at the Branching Pines RV Community, the owners strive to keep the RV park quiet and peaceful for their guests. Many of the patrons who stay at the RV park are there for an extended period of time to work at the nearby military base of Fort Benning. As such, the owners hope that those who stay with them will have a “serene, quiet experience” during their time there. One former guest commented that “it is nestled in a quiet spot, but just 20 minutes to downtown Columbus and the river” when talking about the property’s location and atmosphere.
“It is our goal to maintain a safe, clean, and peaceful community for everyone to call home,” the owner says. The hosts try to allow this goal of the establishment to follow the same premise of customer service and hospitality. As such, there are some policies that the owners ask guests to follow to allow for the type of community that the motto outlines. One of the most important policies is that vehicles must obey the posted speed limit of five miles per hour while traversing the park. Additionally, patrons are asked to clean up after their pets should they bring them and to observe a quiet time through the night to respect the other guests. Should any needs arise, the Branching Pines RV Community’s main office is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM every day and is located at the front of the park. The RV community is open for reservations year-round, and according to the owners, it “stays pretty full” for most of the year.
The Branching Pines RV Community has been operating as an RV park since the 1960s. In 2020, the property was purchased by the current owners, who were led into the lodging industry because they owned a number of rental properties in Utah and wanted to expand. They started investigating other types of rental properties, and over the course of their search, they came across the RV park and purchased it. Since taking over the property, the owners have made some updates to the facilities of the park, namely updating all of the electrical functions at each site and three picnic areas spread across the premises.
