Beach Express RV Park is an RV park located on the east side of Foley, Alabama. From the property, it is just a 12-minute drive away from the Gulf of Mexico. Beach Express RV Park has 46 total RV sites that have full hookups, are pet-friendly, and are available for both short and long-term stays. There are a number of beaches, shopping, and entertainment centers that can found nearby. Due to the location of Foley and how close it is to the beaches and several bays, activities like fishing, whale watching, and paddle-boating tend to be popular among both locals and visitors.
Beach Express RV Park has a grand total of 46 back-in RV units on the 2-acres that make up the land. Each RV site has full hookups, including water, electrical, and sewage stations. The electrical stations at the RV sites have a varying degree of power that depends on the site. Some of the sites have 30 AMPs, and the rest have 50 AMPs. Anyone staying at the Beach Express RV Park has access to the free Wi-Fi, coin-operated laundry machines, a large deck attached to the office with tables and chairs, a free gas-fueled grill, and a fenced-in play area for dogs. Pets are welcome on the property, but their website notes that they don't allow large breeds.
The RV spaces are available for rent for both long-term and short-term stays. The rates for rent can be charged per night, per week, or per month. On the property, guests can also find vending machines and a full-service kitchen that is available to those who are staying in one of the RV units. Beach Express has a number of handicap-accessible ramps that lead into places like their showers and restrooms that make them wheelchair friendly.
Beyond the two acres that make up Beach Express RV Park, visitors can find several main attractions in Foley. Some attractions include OWA Amusement Park, which hosts rollercoasters of varying intensities, the Tanger Outlet Mall, with dozens of stores inside, and several beaches like Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, which are found a short drive to the south from the RV park. The docks along the coasts have a large number of seafood joints that serve locally caught fish. Deep-sea fishing is available if guests want to rent a boat or pay for a tour guide to take them out into the Gulf of Mexico and see the area or cast a line into the water.
The owners of Beach Express RV Park say their goal for the RV Park is to create a friendly atmosphere. They are known and appreciated by guests for the cleanliness of their bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Among the reviews that the establishment has received, one person writes, "Very nice clean park. Well maintained, lots look nice with concrete parking. Shower house is immaculately clean and very private. Management and staff are amazing and very polite. Lot is very reasonable for all the things that are included." Many guests stay for a longer time due to the fact that Beach Express RV Park allows for guests to come and stay for however long they would like, whether that be nightly, weekly, or monthly.
Foley, the city where Beach Express RV Park is located, tends to be a quieter and peaceful town that offers a number of things to do. Foley provides activities that many people can find enjoyment in, such as amusement parks, beaches, and deep-sea fishing. Many of the towns in the area that are established on the edge of the water have been known for being fishing towns that date back many years ago. For this reason, there are many seafood restaurants and tour companies that can take guests out into the waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
There are a number of shopping centers in the area as well. One that is mentioned by name on the Beach Express RV Park website is The Pelican Place at Craft Farms, which has a number of stores inside, as well as a movie theater. The Tanger Outlets are another shopping mall that is noted for the dozens of stores that can be found. Also in the area are several different bays, such as Bon Secour Bay and Mobile Bay. Since it is so far south in Alabama, it is not a very long drive to reach the neighboring states, Florida to the east and Mississippi to the West. Regardless of where visitors go, it can be relatively easy for them to find outdoor and recreational activities.
Beach Express RV Park was founded about 12 years ago in 2009. The current owners, whose names are Kim and Ken Patel, say they do their best to make every guest feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay. Kim and Ken purchased the property in August of 2019. The Patels have done some renovations to make sure the property is clean and up to date for the visitors that have begun staying with them. The current owners say that running Beach Express RV Park has been their dream, and they express their desire to make it as clean and comfortable for everyone that comes to visit.
